Design for Print
MADE FOR SEASONY
GOAL: To create printable products that were high quality, visually appealing, matched the company brand, and make the files ready for print.
LEARNING: These tasks required eye for detail and a good understanding of following existing brand guidelines. Communicating with the printing companies taught me about some common mistakes that designers make when making files print-ready, such as not setting up the correct color mode, using low-resolution images, and neglecting to include bleed and crop marks. Additionally, I learned the importance of proper file formats for print, such as using vector graphics for logos and text and using CMYK color mode instead of RGB.
